The Department of Communicative Disorders (CMD) at the University of Rhode Island invites applications for a 9-month tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level with expertise in one or more of the following areas: motor speech disorders; voice disorders; and/or dysphagia. We seek a strong researcher who can contribute to our mission of advancing the health and well-being of individuals with communication disorders across the lifespan, and their families. Position to start August 2024 or earlier.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop a successful research program that includes high impact publications and external funding to support research and graduate students.
Teach graduate and/or undergraduate courses in areas of expertise and need in the department.
Participate in service-related activities that support the mission of the department, college, university, and profession.
