Marketing Cloud Administrator

ODU is seeking candidates for a Marketing Cloud Administrator (full-time, 12 month) position.
The Marketing Cloud Administrator is a subject matter expert in Salesforce Marketing Cloud. This individual will leverage deep understanding of the capabilities and functionality of Salesforce Marketing Cloud to lead the development of new initiatives, enhancements, operations, and production support for the platform reaching customers with multiple channel impact. This individual will partner with the Marketing & Outreach team on requirements for priority initiatives and lead the development, execution, and delivery of engagement using Marketing Cloud to support the needs of the Division of Digital Learning. This individual will respond to report and dashboard requests, working to resolve errors with functionality.

Required Education: Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Business IT, Computer Programming, or related field. Or a bachelor’s degree, in the same fields of study, with equivalent related experience to equate to a master’s degree may be substituted.

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to connect to overall business strategy and design and execute on department strategy Able to build successful relationships with all levels of staff and management. Comfortable working independently in an evolving and changing environment Proven ability to create innovative solutions to solve customer and client challenges Strong research, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills Comfortable working independently in an evolving and changing environment Ability to collaborate withing and across teams Understanding of third-party integrations Certifications for Marketing Cloud Admin, Marketing Cloud Email Specialist and/or Salesforce Admin Extensive experience with Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Web Studio, Email Studio and Audience Builder Experience with HTML, CSS, SQL, AMPscript, and API functions Experience with Google Analytics Experience with email marketing, including best practices

Conditions of Employment:

• Remote Schedule is available for this position. Typical work hours, working 40 hours a week Monday - Friday
