The Chief Information Officer and Chief Information Security Officer (CIO/CISO) is responsible for leading the strategic vision, planning, implementation, and management of the university’s information technology and information security functions. The CIO/CISO oversees the delivery of high-quality, reliable, secure, and innovative IT services and solutions that support the university’s academic, research, administrative, and outreach missions. The CIO/CISO also ensures the protection of the university’s information assets, systems, networks, and data from cyber threats and risks. The CIO/CISO reports to the COO and works collaboratively with other university leadership, faculty, staff, students, and external partners.
