Job Summary/Basic Functions

Job Description:
The successful candidate will provide instructional support for a Master's level Introductory Epidemiology course (MPH 855) in the Master of Public Health (MPH) Program within the Department of Public Health & Clinical Sciences at Eastern Kentucky University. Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Grading all assignments of students in their respective groups (quizzes, exams, exercises, discussions, and other assignments) and submitting those grades in the online Blackboard grade book in a timely manner
  
• Providing feedback to inquiries from students regarding materials covered or assignments
  
• Communicating with the instructor of record regarding any issues, potential problems, or suggestions for improvement as the course unfolds; and
  
• Attending any instructor requested meeting regarding the course
  
  Minimum Qualifications:
  Successful candidates will hold a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree or graduate degree in a related field. Candidates must have an adequate working knowledge of Blackboard.
  
  Minimum Qualifications
  
  Education: Status that would be approved by SACSCOC for secondary instructor purposes. Candidate must have earned their Master's degree in a field of study appropriate to the course content.
  
  Experience:
  
  Licensure & Certifications: Successful candidates will hold a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree or graduate degree in a related field. Candidates must have an adequate working knowledge of Blackboard.
  
  Sponsorship: Visa sponsorship will be considered on a case-by-case basis, depending upon the needs of the unit, available sponsorship budget, and the qualifications of the candidate.
