Job Description Summary

The School of Sciences & Humanities at Wentworth Institute of Technology seeks Adjunct Faculty to teach General Chemistry I, General Chemistry II, Organic Chemistry or Chemistry of the Built Environment for the Fall 2023 semester beginning in September OR Spring 2024 semester beginning in January.

The adjunct faculty member is responsible for:

1. Preparing a syllabus for the course and distributing the syllabus to the students, based on recommendation of the School of Sciences and Humanities and the provost office
2. Teaching lectures and/or labs of sciences courses in collaboration with the course coordinator
3. Preparing quizzes, labs and exams.
4. Grading assignments and exams in a timely manner
5. Meeting students during office hours outside of class as required.
