Assistant Director of Early Career Engagement

Summary

The Assistant Director of Early Career Engagement is a member of the Career Coaching team within the Center for Career Excellence (CCE) and reports to the Director of the Center for Career Excellence. The Assistant Director of Early Career Engagement works with Career Excellence colleagues, academic departments, and key University partners to implement the Center’s early career engagement and exploration strategy for first year and sophomore students. The individual maintains a heavy career coaching load of one-on-one and small-group appointments and offers developmentally appropriate career programming to engage first- and second-year students, and transfer students. The Assistant Director liaises with colleagues in the First-Year Program and Sophomore Success Initiative and markets our programs and services to increase the sharing of information and resources to assist with retention efforts.
