The Department of Economics in the Davis College of Business and Economics at Radford University invites applications for the full-time Special Purpose position of Assistant Professor of Economics. This appointment is subject to receiving final approval from the Provost’s Office and may be renewed subject to budgetary approval. The position involves teaching four undergraduate courses per semester (both face-to-face and online) in the areas of Economics, including of Principles of Microeconomics, Principles of Macroeconomics, Global Economy & Business, and/or elective courses in area of specialty. The position will also include service and advising. The position requires a Ph.D. in Economics. ABD’s will be considered but must have degree by time of appointment. Must be a qualified instructor per AACSB requirements as well as the standards of the Davis College of Business and Economics, defined as sustaining currency and relevance through scholarship and related activities.
