Academics Support Manager

Must relocate to the UAE. This relocation shall cover one (1) Base Period of 6 months, two (2) 12-month option periods, and one (1) 6-month option period for a total of 36 months if the option periods are exercised.

Experience: Shall have at least three (3) years of relevant academic support experience at an accredited university/college. Previous experience working in the Middle East and/or demonstrated expertise working in an adult learning environment in a multi-national, multi-cultural setting are highly desired. International experience and living abroad in a multicultural environment, particularly in the Arabian Gulf Region, are/is highly desired. Arabic language proficiency is desired, but all NDC courses will be conducted in English.

Education: A Master’s degree is desired; Applicants shall possess at a minimum a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or UAE-approved equivalent.

Specific Tasks: The Academic Support Manager shall provide academic program assistance and administrative support of the overall UAE NDC program and all activities in support of the UAE NDC Program Manager, including personnel support functions. Specific Tasks that are the responsibility of the Academic Support

• Serving as a liaison between the Contractor Program Manager and the UAE NDC faculty and staff.
• Facilitating requirements to support guest lecturers, seminars and symposiums, and academic travel coordination.
• Maintaining appropriate files and records of meetings. 
• Supporting the UAE NDC mission in enabling the academic program, including setting up and recording outcomes of meetings, plus follow-up.
