The Postdoctoral Research Associate will be working directly with our Director of Scientific Operations and will be responsible for designing, conducting, and analyzing experiments that will directly impact the development of multiple product lines. You will get hands-on experience helping to build an innovative biotechnology company, learn about launching medical products.
The Zetagen technology platform is built on the discovery of a new molecular pathway that inhibits tumor cell growth and stimulates bone stem cells which has allowed us to simultaneously target oncology and orthopedic conditions with novel treatments that promise to dramatically improve the lives of patients.
Responsibilities:
· Design, execute, and record laboratory experiments
· Collect, analyze, and distill data for target audiences
· Develop, verify, and maintain new procedures and protocols
· Write and edit scientific reports, papers, and grants
· Manage and perform tissue culture experiments
· Assist in the day-to-day management of the SOPs for the laboratory
Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Biology, Microbiology, Bioengineering, or related field is required
Experience with cancer biology is preferred
Demonstrated written and oral communication skills
Animal handling experience a plus
Self-directed and organized with a high attention to detail
Ability to work independently or in a team
Enthusiastic to work in a fast-paced, creative, and dynamic environment
