General Maintenance Helper
Monmouth University is seeking applications for a General
Maintenance Helper in the Facilities Management department.
The candidate would be expected to: assist in the construction,
inspection, maintenance, repair, assembly, installation and
replacement of interior and exterior building equipment, mechanical
systems and components using vehicles, lifts, ladders, scaffolding,
torches, measuring devices, power and hand tools.

Required Degree, License or Certifications:
Valid Automobile Driver's License in your state of principal
Required Skills or Software:
Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication
Required Years of Experience:
One year of experience working in a mechanical field.
Must have above-average interpersonal communication skills, a high
degree of attention to detail and care to prevent injury to self
and others and to ensure that all work is constantly providing and
appropriate level of service to, and meeting the needs of the

oral and written directions (including MSDS, chemical product
