Job Description:

The Behavioral Health Clinician works as part of an interdisciplinary, patient-centered HIV care team to support the overall health and well-being of people living with HIV (PLWH) and affected by HIV. The Behavioral Health Clinician will work to engage and provide ongoing behavioral health services including clinic-based outreach, program intake, diagnostic assessments, treatment adherence and risk reduction counseling, service plan development, case conferencing, and evidence-based psychotherapy interventions. They will also provide crisis intervention and case management as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Independently licensed in the State of Ohio as a Social worker (LISW) or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) required.
• Previous experience providing psychotherapy or closely related diagnostic and therapeutic care to patients required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge and experience of ODMH and Joint Commission Behavioral Health standards preferred.
• Recent clinical experience in the care of people living with HIV preferred.
• Experience with DBT, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, EMDR preferred.
• Experience facilitating groups preferred.
• Experience with treatment of substance use preferred.
• Experience working with diverse populations preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
• Knowledge of community resources for children and families preferred.
• Knowledge of Medicaid billing procedures a plus.
• Must be certified in BLS and maintain certification throughout employment.
• Must have crisis intervention certification or receive within probationary period and maintain certification throughout employment.
