The Romain College of Business at the University of Southern Indiana invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor of Finance beginning August 2024.
Duties/Responsibilities
The successful candidate will teach a variety of finance courses primarily in the undergraduate program but will also support the MBA program as needed. Responsibilities include innovative teaching, active scholarship, and service at the program, university, and community levels. USI Faculty members are expected to have a strong desire for community engagement via continuous interaction with local area businesses and organizations.
Required Knowledge and Skills
Qualified candidates must have a doctoral degree in Finance or a similarly related field. ABD may be considered at the rank of Instructor if a doctoral degree is not conferred by hire date.
About the College
USI’s Romain College of Business is dual accredited by the AACSB for business and accounting undergraduate and graduate programs and plays an important role in the economic and social development of the region. The College currently enrolls approximately 1,000 undergraduate business majors across eight different programs and more than 1,000 MBA students across eight concentration areas.
