Assistant Director - Strategic Initiatives
Coastal Carolina University seeks an experienced collaborative mid-level manager to serve as the Assistant Director - Strategic Initiatives. This role reports to the Director of Strategic Initiatives and Assessment and is a time-limited position working on the Complete College America initiative funded by the Gates Foundation to increase student completion rates.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Assist in the implementation and progress tracking for the five-year CCA/Institutional Transformation Program; Manage division wide special projects and initiatives and serve as the liaison to division and campus partners for special projects and initiatives; Assist in the oversight of progress on various division wide programs and initiatives; Assist with division wide communication and marketing efforts that support the overall mission and values of the division; Assist in the assessment and tracking of initiatives and programs across the division and in partnership with campus partners; and Support the training and development strategies for the division.
Requirements: A bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of special project experience are required. A master’s degree and university experience are preferred.

Student Services Program Coordinator II (CB70/TL5781/ NS01188P), full-time time-limited position with benefits. The salary for this position is $50,000.00 - $55,000.00. Normal work hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Must be flexible to meet the special scheduling needs of the university.
