Job Description Summary
Counseling Services, a member of the Wellness Center, seeks a generalist clinician with experience in college counseling and/or equivalent settings. Counseling Services is a multidisciplinary setting embedded in the Wellness Center and collaborates with Student Health, Campus Health and to offer a range of services to the University of Pennsylvania student community. Clinical responsibilities include initial assessments, crisis intervention, individual psychotherapy, group facilitation, collaboration with the Center's multidisciplinary staff as well as partnership offices across campus. Counseling Services is seeking a candidate with a solid understanding of the impact of marginalization, inequality, and identity on students.

Principal Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessment of incoming students
- Crisis evaluation and management
- Individual psychotherapy
- Group facilitation
- Outreach and Prevention initiatives
- Cooperation and collaboration with professionals within the center and in key partnership offices
- Alignment with values of equity and inclusion.
Position Qualifications:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree required in Psychology or Social Work, Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling with 3 to 5 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Must be licensed in the State of Pennsylvania.
Counseling Services is seeking candidates with a solid understanding of how marginalization, inequality, and identity impact students. Foundation in multicultural counseling is strongly preferred. Experience with multidisciplinary collaboration, consultation and integrated care is highly desirable. Expected to adopt some flexible hours during the week to cover evening shifts. Some Saturdays, 10 am to 3 pm may be required.
Scheduled Weekly Hours:
Approximately 10 to 20 hours.
