Duties Performed in the Usual Course of the Job
The Lecturer-Pool Faculty will teach undergraduate or graduate
courses within the Department of Kinesiology, dependent upon an
applicant’s academic background, experience, and licensure. Pool
faculty contracts are for one semester, but may be renewed based on
performance and need.

surrounding larger cities including Conroe (where the College of
Osteopathic Medicine is located), The Woodlands (where the School

outdoor activities, vineyards, golf courses, lakes, and a beautiful
state park. In a little over an hour after leaving main campus, you

Educational Requirements for the Position
Requires a minimum of Master’s degree from an accredited
institution in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Athletic Training,
Sport Management or a related field for lower-level course
offerings. Candidates must have their degree completed by their
contract start date.
Experience Required for the Position
Teaching experience preferred. Professional experience in the
specific area is preferred.
Other Requirements for the Position
Experience in online teaching and online training and certificates
needed for those who will teach online courses.
Certifications and Licensure are needed for those teaching in the
