BASIC FUNCTION:
Salve Regina University aspires to provide students a deeply aligned academic advising and career development experience as part of the signature Salve Compass program delivered across the four years of the undergraduate experience. The Office Coordinator will be an integral contributor in the successful execution of Salve Compass and Center for Advising, Career, and Life Design functions. The incumbent will support the team through a number of critical functional areas of responsibility. Key partners include teams from IT, facilities, and purchasing/billing, as well as vendor representatives. The Office Coordinator will support budget tracking and reporting, respond to inquiries from stakeholders, and take an active role in outreach.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Office Support:
- Provide oversight for key administrative functions (technical support, facilities requests, purchasing/billing) and serve as point person for the team with colleagues in appropriate offices (IT, Facilities, etc.)
- Track departmental budget and generate regular reports
- Collaborate with other members of the Center to create a welcoming space for students and other stakeholders both in person and virtually
- Participate in team trainings, events, and programming as appropriate
- Assist with resource management needs across various platforms (could include conducting approvals, generating reports, and entering assessment data)
- Work with vendor partners to keep team updated and communicate troubleshooting requests, as well as manage billing cycles and the potential partnership process
- Serve as a main point of contact for general office phone, e-mail, and social media inquiries, responding to requests and triaging to appropriate team members and colleagues
- Collaborate with team to execute on the overall marketing plan for the Center
- Represent the department and liaise with other administrative coordinators across campus
- Participate in trainings and other special programming, as well as other duties as assigned

Requirements:
Required:
- Minimum requirement of a high school diploma or GED
- Capacity to learn and use multiple other technological platforms and software required
- Excitement for connecting with diverse audiences and ability to record information conveyed by stakeholders and prepare statistical information in a timely manner required
- Ability to uphold confidentiality required
- Commitment to equitable access to resources and communities of support for all students required
- Earned Bachelor's degree preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint preferred
- Demonstrated expertise within a high volume office setting with multiple stakeholders and team members required, experience in a higher education setting preferred
- Understanding of and commitment to Salve Regina's Mercy, Catholic tradition and mission preferred
