Instructor of an introductory course in Anthropology, SOA 130 Anthropology: Cultural Differences. The course covers the four fields of anthropology (biological, cultural, linguistics, and archaeology) with equal emphasis. Course meets in person twice per week on Salve Regina's campus in Newport, on Monday and Wednesday 4 pm to 5:15 pm. The SOA 130 is open to all majors and has an enrollment of up to 30 undergraduates, nearly half of which are first year college students.


Requirements:
  • Required Master's degree or PhD (ABD accepted) in one of the subdisciplines of Anthropology.
  • Applicants should have experience with a variety of pedagogical approaches to teaching and assessment, to meet the needs of, and assess the learning of, a diverse group of learners.
