Assistant Athletic Trainer

Buena Vista University seeks qualified applicants for the position of Assistant Athletic Trainer. The position assists the Director of Athletic Training with 19 NCAA III varsity sports programs. Responsibilities include but are not limited to supervision of athletic training students and athletic training services for varsity athletic teams as determined by the Director of Athletic Training. This is a full-time 10-month position.

Qualified applicants will have their BOC Certification and be eligible for Iowa Licensure. A bachelor’s degree is required and a Master’s degree is preferred. Experience with college athletic training coverage and certification to teach first-aid and CPR is preferred.
