Scope of Job:
Provide guidance and support to students seeking assistance with certification exams.

Description of Duties:
• Schedule tutoring sessions and provide tutoring to individual students and student groups.
• Provide assistance and customer service to students and staff who come into the office.
• Send and respond to emails as needed.
• Maintain records of tutoring sessions, to include tracking and progress monitoring of students.
• Assist with preparing PowerPoint and other resources geared at test preparation.
• Assist with student test data collection and organization.
• Collaborate with staff as needed to ensure student success.
• Work with technology platforms/applications used in the Teacher Education Program.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

Supervision Given:

Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree in English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Fine Arts, or in Physical Education/Health.

Preferred Education:

Teacher Certification in English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Fine Arts, or in Physical Education/Health.

Required Experience:
• Experience in tutoring/teaching students in a traditional environment in one of the following subjects: English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Fine Arts, or in Physical Education/Health.
• Experience in tutoring/teaching students in a virtual setting.• Ability to navigate through computer programs such as, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.• Demonstrates excellent communication skills.• Adheres to deadlines.• Works well with other colleagues and team members.
