Reporting to the Executive Director of Learner Services, the Senior Assistant Director of Recruitment and Enrollment is responsible for strategies, policies, procedures, and guidance necessary for meeting online enrollment goals across all colleges within the university. The Senior Assistant Director also manages the day-to-day operations and administrative management for a team of enrollment coaches. The person in this position works in close collaboration across all colleges and develops and implements graduate and undergraduate student recruitment functions. Controls planning and ensures that recruitment program goals and objectives are accomplished in accordance with college and university priorities.
Job Duties Management & Supervision: Provides leadership, training, development, mentorship, and evaluation for a team of enrollment coaches. Develops and executes strategic and operational goals in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. Manages day-to-day operations and administrative management. Monitors team performance and identifies areas for team growth and individual development and delivers continuous feedback. Creates performance metrics, ensures team and individuals are meeting goals. Recruitment: Develops, coordinates, and implements strategic plans for the recruitment of graduate and undergraduate students to achieve program, unit, and university goals. Nurtures and maintains collaborative relationships with campus program departments/units regarding recruitment efforts. Assists in the development, editing and distribution of recruitment items, brochures, and documents. Data Analysis: Develops and analyzes reports related to the day-to-day operations and overall productivity of the team to improve accuracy in forecasts and to drive performance. Initiates and prepares administrative reports and documents. Monitors compliance with department policies and procedures. Experience/Education Required Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related administrative experience, which includes 3 years of supervisory experience; or Ten (10) years of related administrative experience, which includes three (3) years of supervisory experience; or Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved. Preferred Experience: Master's Degree Familiarity with the enrollment, student services, admission, and financial aid processes and policies relevant to the student success. Experience working in higher education.
