Job Summary
Purdue University Northwest (PNW) invites applications and nominations for a tenure-track position in the Department of Biological Sciences in the field of Molecular Biology. Rank and tenure status will be commensurate with qualifications. The expected start date for this position is August 5, 2024.
Qualifications and Responsibilities
Applicants must have earned a terminal doctorate by the time of the appointment. We seek an individual whose expertise is broadly defined within the framework of molecular approaches to the study of physiological processes. Researchers in the areas of toxicology, biomedical engineering, forensic genetics or applied biotechnology are encouraged to apply, but other specialties will be considered. The successful candidate is expected to carry out an active research program involving undergraduate and M.S. students. Teaching responsibilities will include an undergraduate class in genetics, courses in biotechnology and a course in their specialty.
