Grounds Worker

Position Summary:
Gannon University, a Catholic university, seeks a Grounds Worker.The successful candidate will be responsible for the general maintenance and upkeep of campus lawns and sidewalks and will assist in the preparation and cleaning associated with university events. General landscaping, pruning, edging, mulching, and planting skills are preferred. This position has Part-time and full-time vacancies. Must be able to support and promote the University's Mission.

Required Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma/GED.

Experience: One-to-three years’ experience.

Licenses and Certifications: Valid driver’s license.

Skills: Must be self-motivated and have good oral, written, and verbal communication skills.

University Mission: Must be able to support and promote the University’s Mission.

Preferred Qualifications:
Must possess or be willing to obtain Pesticide Applicator’s License at the expense of the University.
