Qualifications

Candidates for this position must have earned or be near completion of a Ph.D. in Finance or Financial Economics. The degree must be conferred by August 1, 2024. Candidates should have a strong commitment to excellent teaching at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels and a research agenda targeting top-tier journals.

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with expertise in Asset Pricing/Investments are preferred.

Florida State University’s College of Business seeks applications for two tenure-track Assistant Professor positions in Finance. These positions are scheduled to start in Fall 2024. The Department of Finance provides an active research environment, including the Truist seminar series and the Truist Beach Conference. Faculty have access to summer research grants, graduate student research assistants, travel support, and an excellent collection of databases, which include Compustat, CRSP, IBES, Boardex, ISS, Thomson Reuters Institutional Holdings, SDC, and others.
