Coordinator, K-12 Outreach - College of Engineering

The University of Nevada, Reno, College of Engineering is recruiting for a Coordinator for the College of Engineering’s K-12 Outreach Program. The College of Engineering’s K-12 Outreach Program is comprised of the Mobile Engineering Education Laboratory (ME2L), the K-12 Outreach Laboratory, and Engineering Summer camps, among other entities. The Outreach Program interacts with and helps coordinate Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) events in the community. The Outreach Program performs campus related and community outreach functions.

 

This position will recruit, hire, train and supervise engineering student workers, summer camps and K12 lab, oversee the development and implementation of lessons with staff and faculty, collaborate with marketing, advertise, promote and drive enrollment, organize meetings, manage on-line scheduling and student teacher sign ups. The Coordinator will create reports and monitor program effectiveness, prepare statistical reports and presentations, manage budget, payroll and personnel operations, identify and research new funding opportunities and prepare proposals for continuing and new grant funding of K-12 outreach programs. The position reports to the Coordinator of Recruitment and Outreach, College of Engineering.
