Instructor of Computer Information Systems
The Department of Chemistry, Computer and Physical Sciences at Southeastern Oklahoma State University invites applications for a full-time instructor position in Computer Information Systems. We are seeking candidates with a master’s degree or higher in computer information systems or computer science or a closely related field and who have a passion for undergraduate education. Job responsibilities will include teaching a mixture of introductory and upper-level Computer Information Systems, some basic Computer Science courses, computer literacy support courses and advising students about academic requirements related to the selection of courses if needed. Prior teaching experience is preferred.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The preferred start date is January 1, 2024.This position may require multiple campus assignments as well as varied time and delivery methods. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.
