The Department of Business & Economics at Salve Regina University invites applications for a full-time Lecturer in Marketing and Management position with a start in the Spring Semester of 2024. This is non- tenure track role.

The successful candidate will be able to teach undergraduate courses across marketing and management disciplines, which could include courses such as Principles of Marketing, Business Communications, Organizational Behavior, Marketing Strategies, Marketing Communications, Digital Marketing, and International Marketing, amongst others. Ideally, a candidate would also be academically and experientially qualified to teach across additional areas within the department, which could include, Business Operations, Business Analytics, Human Resources, New Venture Development and Entrepreneurship, Hospitality Management, Managerial Decision Making, Business Law, Sports Management, Financial Management and more. In addition, successful candidates will demonstrate teaching excellence, industry experience, and a strong ability to mentor and advise undergraduate students.


Requirements:
  • The minimum educational requirement for this position is a Master's of Science Degree in Marketing, an MBA, or Master's degree in a related field. The successful candidate will be available to teach courses during the day on our scenic campus in Newport, RI, with a teaching load of 4-4.
