Job Description:
The Department of Psychological Science at Weber State University (http://weber.edu/psychology) invites applications for a tenure-track position in Psychology at the Assistant Professor rank.
Job Duties:
Candidates should have the ability to teach the following courses: Child Psychology, Adolescent Psychology, Statistics and Research Methods, Introduction to Psychology, as well as capstone courses and electives in the area of their specialty.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum requirements are a Ph.D. in Psychology or closely related field by the appointment date, July 1, 2024, with preference for candidates who are trained in developmental psychology. Strong ABDs will be considered.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preference will be given to candidates who have demonstrated teaching excellence and have mentored undergraduates in research and/or practicum experiences.
