Job Details
The Finance Department in Strome College of Business at Old Dominion University invites applications for a full-time non-tenure track faculty position at the Senior Lecturer level. The position will begin in the Fall semester of 2024, with an anticipated employment start date of July 25, 2024. The position is renewable based on performance. We seek an accomplished individual to teach courses to include the senior-level Applied Corporate Finance and other courses depending on the background of the individual. These courses are offered in both face-to-face and online formats.
Qualifications: The successful candidate must possess either an M.B.A., M.S.Fin., or Ph.D. in Finance or related discipline from an AACSB accredited institution or international equivalent, a demonstrated record of managerial success in a significant financial position, and a strong interest in working with and mentoring students. An advanced certification, such as the CFA or CFP, is desirable.
About Strome College of Business: The College offers an undergraduate program, an M.B.A., a Ph.D. with concentrations in Finance, Marketing, Management, and Information Technology, and a Ph.D. Program in Public Administration and Urban Policy. The Department offers undergraduate majors/minors in finance, real estate, risk management, and personal financial planning.
