Reporting directly to the Dean, the Associate Dean of the School of Management will support the Dean in the overall administration of the school with particular attention to student success and affairs, undergraduate programs and graduate programs curriculum development, internal and external assessment, experiential learning, and inclusive excellence.
The School of Management seeks an Associate Dean with a strong record of teaching, research, and service in an appropriate discipline (aligned with the School’s portfolio of programs). The successful candidate will assist with assessment and accreditation, facilitate faculty scholarship initiatives, and represent the School as an active participant on appropriate University committees. The Associate Dean will also serve as a conduit for communication between the Dean’s office, laboratory staff, and University offices. The position requires a creative and collegial leader who has interpersonal skills that demonstrate a high level of professionalism with the ability to communicate the School’s mission and vision with faculty, staff and students. In addition to the administrative duties, the candidate will teach up to two courses per academic year in their area of expertise, which may include independent study and a capstone course for School of Management majors.
Wentworth’s School of Management provides the foundational education for students entering the construction and business management fields. With a diverse portfolio of programs and the ability to service other technical degrees across the campus, the new Associate Dean will be joining the school at a time of creative growth and development.
