Musicology FT Faculty (tenure-track or visiting faculty)

This position is a full-time tenure-track position, or it may be filled with a visiting faculty.

Position start date is August 26, 2024.

Qualifications:

1. Ph.D. in Musicology
2. Specialty in early music (pre-1750)
3. Record of research and college-level teaching

Responsibilities:

1. Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in music history
2. Offer seminars in area of specialization
3. Be active in research, publication, and professional associations
4. Serve on department, college, and university committees as assigned

The School of Music at Brigham Young University is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music and has 450 majors enrolled in its undergraduate and graduate programs.
