At J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College (Reynolds), we are committed to the success of all students. Reynolds is seeking a forward-thinking and ambitious leader for the School of Humanities and Social Sciences. The Dean will directly lead the following academic programs: American Sign Language, Early Childhood Development, Human Services, Liberal Arts, General Studies, and Social Sciences. Driving a key priority of Reynolds’ strategic direction, the Dean of Humanities and Social Sciences will work collaboratively with faculty and regional partners to ensure that high-level academic programming supports student success in transfer outcomes, and placement into high-demand careers. The Dean must provide visionary leadership for the School, build and support a robust faculty team, and direct development of new education and career pathways. Reynolds is searching for applicants with a deep commitment to student success, faculty development and program alignment with transfer and employment outcomes. Type of Appointment: Full-time twelve-month administrative faculty-ranked appointment. Salary commensurate with the education and experience of the applicant.
