Director of Undergraduate Admissions

Manhattanville College is seeking a Director of Undergraduate Admissions. The Director is responsible for the direction and administration of all phases of operations within the Office of Admissions, develops and implements strategies for all on and off campus prospective student recruitment activities, and works closely with the Director of Financial Aid in the execution of annual financial aid models designed to meet optimal enrollment levels. The Director will assume the lead role in developing goals and strategies related to all aspects of admissions policies, operations and annual enrollment management targets and will be capable of providing a clear and innovative vision for student recruitment and retention initiatives throughout campus.

Qualifications:

• Progressively responsible prior work experience in a competitive undergraduate admissions environment.
• Experience in the management of counseling and/or operations staff.
• Prior experience with integrated student information systems (preferably Colleague and Slate/Technolutions CRM) with the ability of using data as a rubric for analysis and assessment.
• Considerable knowledge and familiarity with strategies and tactics for student success in recruitment from inquiry to matriculation.
• Strong organizational, planning and time management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead an admissions committee.
• Ability to develop congenial and productive working relationships with college administrators, faculty, staff and students.

Education: Minimum of an earned Master's degree in college student personnel, educational leadership, higher education administration, student development or related field from an accredited college or university.
