Job Summary/Basic Functions

The Fire Extinguisher Lab is looking for student workers to help inspect, test, and maintain fire extinguishers on EKU owned properties. This is a part time position with a maximum of 20 hours per week. Training will be provided. Must currently be enrolled in or have passed FSE 101.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be enrolled at EKU
• Must currently be enrolled in or have passed FSE 101.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Have a valid driver's license.

Job Duties:

• 90% - Inspecting fire extinguishers around the EKU campus - (Essential)
• 10% - Conducting general testing and maintenance to fire extinguishers. - (Essential)

Sponsorship: Visa sponsorship will be considered on a case-by-case basis, depending upon the needs of the unit, available sponsorship budget, and the qualifications of the candidates.
