Job Description:
The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Weber State University invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor faculty position to start fall semester 2024.

Job Duties:
In addition to teaching a standard load of 12 credits per semester, Weber State faculty are expected to pursue scholarly activities and perform university-related service. A successful candidate for this position would be expected to teach various courses in the Electrical and Computer Engineering programs.

Required Qualifications:
Minimum requirements are

• A doctorate in computer engineering, electrical engineering, computer science or a closely related field.
• Two or more years of industrial or lab experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred candidates will have

• Two or more years of industrial practice as a computer engineer.
• University level teaching experience.
• A strong commitment to undergraduate education.

While we are interested in all highly qualified candidates, those with expertise in computer architecture, operating systems, internet of things or real-time systems are particularly encouraged to apply.

Visual Acuity Requirements including color, depth perception and field of vision: Required to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; using a computer terminal; extensive reading.
