Job Details
Miami Dade College, Wolfson Campus is now accepting applications for the Grant Coordinator, Hospitality Institute Program position. This position manages and coordinates the Hospitality Institute Program, management, grants, planning and continuous reviews and analysis of the designated grant program.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Reports to and works closely with management to monitor the internal operations to ensure that current and future programmatic needs are being met.
Designs and implements all tasks and deliverables of the grant-funded project and other resources as assigned.
Performs outreach activities to promote and advertise the Hospitality Institute and research potential funding sources.
Interacts with external constituencies such as government and industry, in facilitating program objectives throughout the county.
Compiles, maintains, and reports data of program and financial records on program activities, progress, status, and other activities in order to prepare special reports/events for grant funders, stakeholders, and advisory board members.
Manages and updates participant database and develops a tracking system for evaluation purposes.
Supervises full time and part time training instructors and grant program personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
Master’s degree in related field with one (1) year of relevant work experience; or Bachelor’s degree in related field with five (5) years of relevant work experience of which two (2) years should include grant management.
