Job Description
The Department of Economics invites applications for a one-year, Visiting Assistant Professor position beginning Fall 2023.
We seek candidates with the ability to teach Microeconomics Principles and Macroeconomics Principles. Ability to teach other higher level courses is also desirable. Courses will be taught in-person at the Providence College campus.
Successful candidates are expected to have a demonstrated commitment to effective and inclusive teaching with a diverse group of students.
Essential Duties
The teaching load is three (3) courses per semester.
Education and Experience Required
A Master’s degree in economics is required; PhD or ABD is preferred.

The salary for this position is between $63,000-$70,000.
