Dakota State University is seeking applications for a full-time, 9-month Science Lab Manager in the College of Arts and Sciences. The successful candidate for this position will manage the science labs and prepare lab materials for biology, chemistry, physics, and/or geography labs.
Prepare lab materials for biology, chemistry, physics, and/or geography labs.
Administer, train, and supervise student lab assistants.
Assist professors in lab preparation and take down.
Oversee the acquisition and stocking of teaching-related chemicals, lab supplies, equipment, and manuals.
Facilitate lab safety and organize laboratory waste disposals.
Supervise use and routine maintenance of teaching-related equipment and facilities.
Teach science lab sections as assigned.
Masters degree in natural or physical science.
Experience working in a laboratory setting.
