Earlham College is seeking a Visiting Assistant Professor, Earth and Environmental Science to join our team!

Earlham College invites applications for a two-year, full-time, visiting faculty position in Earth and Environmental Science, preferably to begin in January 2024.

Responsibilities:

Teaching responsibilities include the department’s core courses such as Earth and the Environment and Biogeochemical Cycles, as well as offering electives in geochemistry, soils, climate systems, and/or your areas of expertise that complement our existing curriculum.

Qualifications
  • A PhD is preferred, although outstanding ABD candidates will be considered.
  • We seek applicants with a demonstrated commitment to undergraduate teaching.
  • Able to work with students at all levels
  • Be a positive example and resource to all Earlham students.
