Education & Formal Training: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Human Resources Development, Business or Public Administration, or a related field.
Master’s degree, MBA, MPA, or a related advanced degree preferred.
Experience:
1. Five years of progressive professional-level experience with demonstrated knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws; two years must be in managing and administering total rewards (benefits and compensation).
2. Two (2) of supervisory experience.

- Recommend and administer procedures and policies relating to the University’s employment programs, emphasizing benefits and compensation areas. Monitor compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and University policy.
- Leading and managing activities to support the Office of Human Resources staff.
- Prepare daily, monthly, annual, and other periodic reports for compliance and analysis.
- Aid in the investigation of employee relations matters.
