Starting Pay Rate : Per Adjunct Faculty Pay Scale

Schedule Information : The class will be delivered as either a fully face-to-face format (two 75-minute lectures and one three-hour lab each week) or a blended format (online video lectures and a three-hour in-person lab each week). Classes will start the week of January 15, 2024.

The number of adjunct instructors hired varies from semester to semester, depending upon the needs of the department. Your application can remain "Under Review by Committee" for 18 months. You may check your status at any time by logging into jobs.harpercollege.edu with your username and password.

Job Description : We are looking for an instructor to teach our course EGR 110, Introduction to Electrical and Computer Engineering, for the Spring Semester 2024. The course introduces concepts from electrical and computer engineering including circuits, electromagnetics, communications, electronics, controls, and computing. Laboratory experiments focus on practical applications which will be applied to a design project.

Education Requirements : MS degree in electrical engineering

Experience Requirements : Professional engineering experience is preferred. Two years of teaching experience preferred.
