Position Details

Duties Performed in the Usual Course of the Job

Teach a 4-course load (undergraduate) in the School of Teaching and Learning. Serve on committees, work with school districts, supervise students in various settings. Teach Monday-Friday during the day and possibly evenings. Courses taught include, but not limited to, mathematics and science methods for elementary and middle grade instruction. Applicants with an earned Doctorate degree may have the opportunity to teach graduate courses.

Educational Requirements for the Position

Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction or related field. Preference will be given to applicants with a Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction and 18 graduate hours in math or science.

Experience Required for the Position

At least 3-5 years successful teaching in K-12 setting teaching math or science. Experience working with various learners in a school environment and in differentiating instruction.

Other Requirements for the Position

Applicants must hold a state teaching certificate and be available to teach Monday-Friday (as needed).
