Special Instructions to Applicant:
The Department of History and World Cultures is seeking an adjunct instructor beginning Fall 2023, who can teach a 3 credit hour course (face to face) in American Sign Language ( ASL ). Candidates should have teaching experience in ASL and a minimum of a Master’s Degree in a relevant field. The successful candidate will be expected to meet departmental expectations in language study, university deadlines regarding syllabus review and grades, and must commit to check university email every day during semesters employed.
Applicants should provide a letter of introduction, a thorough resume, and a sample syllabus.
All instructors are expected to be competent teachers who cover the essential content and fulfill the learning objectives of the courses they teach; responsive to changing professional needs; committed to innovative delivery of instruction resulting in improved student learning; and able to make effective use of technology.
