Essential Functions
The University of Nebraska at Omaha Management Department invites applications
for a full-time instructor of Management. We seek a candidate with a strong professional record, previous experience teaching and developing curriculum at the university level, and a commitment to teaching students of diverse backgrounds.
The person hired for this position will teach undergraduate and graduate level supply chain management classes. Growth in enrollment has created departmental needs spanning both the operations and analytics disciplines of the field and include courses such as: Introduction to Supply Chain Management, Operations, International Logistics Management, Healthcare Supply Chain Analytics, Supply Chain Analytics, Global Sourcing, and Industrial Purchasing. The candidate’s preferences and experience will be considered when determining teaching responsibilities. A typical teaching load consists of four sections of supply chain management classes per semester.
Student mentoring and service on committees at the department, college, and university levels are also expected. This position is renewable annually, contingent on satisfactory performance. Subsequent renewals will also be contingent upon sufficient enrollment and available funding. This position will begin spring of 2024.

Duties include teaching and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students;
contributing to the diversity, inclusion, and equity efforts of UNO ; and providing departmental, university, and professional service.
Required Qualifications
Successful candidates will hold a master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Management Science or equivalent professional credentials by the time of employment.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong preference will be given to candidates who have completed their doctorate.
