Responsibilities:
  • Program Coordination
    • Oversee adjunct applications to the college and submit adjunct job requisitions thought Kronos as needed
    • Work alongside chairs, directors and the Department of Human Resources staff in the adjunct application, hiring and onboarding processes to provide resources
    • Provide extensive support to new adjunct faculty during onboarding process
    • Issue adjunct and full-time faculty overload contracts and submit to HR for payroll processing
    • Work with appropriate faculty and chairs to assist in/coordinate full-time faculty searches
  • Program Administration
    • Maintain adjunct faculty personnel files
    • Create and maintain system for tracking adjunct credentials per Higher Learning Commission regulations
    • Work with College of Health Sciences, College of Arts and Science and the School of Business staff to monitor teaching loads of adjunct, full-time faculty and teaching staff who work across colleges
    • Assist with course text and material orders
    • Support budget processes (e.g., purchasing, business office payment requests, etc.)
    • Assist with Marketing/Communication processes (e.g., Creative Brief submissions, website updates)
    • Support accreditation and licensure programs
    • Assist academic programs with timetable updates, and catalogue copy
    • Work closely with the Department Chair(s) and Director(s) to create/maintain effective policies and procedures
    • Manage main office of the School of Education and Human Services
      • Maintain office coverage
      • Coordinate office copying/printing
      • Coordinate mail for all faculty and staff
      • Purchase office supplies (including classroom/office furniture, business cards, hardware, software, stationery, etc.)
    • Responsible for the management, supervision, scheduling, and training of the student staff in the school of business.
    • Assist as necessary on special projects and with the daily support of the Dean of the School of Education and Human Services.
    • Serve as Building Manager for Education Hall (e.g. facilities work orders)
    • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:
  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Two years' experience in an academic setting preferred



Technology Skills:
  • Competent in computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiar with Survey tools (e.g., Qualtrics)
  • Ability to quickly acquire the competency of using new software technology


Human Relation Skills:
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively with people regardless of their age, gender, race, sexual orientation, ethnicity, religion, ability, socio-economic background, or job type.
  • The ability to work autonomously, make decisions, and seek and respond to feedback
