Position Summary
The University at Buffalo School of Management is looking for a dynamic leader to teach in and be the academic director for our award winning Leadership Development program (LeaderCORE), and to also serve as the academic director of our new MS degree in Management, which will launch in the fall of 2024. This is a non-tenure track faculty position at the rank of Clinical Assistant or Associate Professor, to begin in Fall 2023.
Primary duties include:
The successful candidate will be expected to play a significant role in the development and delivery of education at the undergraduate and graduate levels, as well as being actively engaged with the leadership development profession.

The UB School of Management is located at UB’s main campus location just outside of Buffalo in Amherst, NY, a town with great public schools, and that has been ranked as one of the safest cities in America as well as one of the “Top 50 Places to Live” in the United States.
The OHR Department at UB consists of 12 full-time faculty members with an impressive range of research and teaching expertise. Faculty members include: Prasad Balkundi, Kate Bezrukova, Cheryl Emerson, Daniela Goya-Tocchetto, Emily Grijalva, Jim Lemoine, Tim Maynes, Aisha O’Mally, Mary Ann Rogers, Dorothy Siaw-Asamoah, Min-Hsuan Tu, Danielle Tussing, and Nicole Zeftel. The OHR Department has a strong research culture, and teaching excellence is also highly valued (several OHR faculty have won notable teaching awards and are recognized as top teachers in the School and University).

Minimum Qualifications
- Must hold a PhD in management or a closely related field (e.g., Organizational Behavior, Human Resources, Communication, or Psychology), or have significant industry experience in roles related to leadership development or organizational development more broadly by fall term 2023.
- Preference will be given to candidates who have a demonstrated record of success in academic program leadership in an AACSB accredited business school, or equivalent industry leadership role;
- an outstanding record of teaching performance (or involvement with corporate leadership development programs),
- the ability to teach leadership, organizational behavior, change management, and/or human resources courses.
