Contract Faculty member will teach a 3-3 load of essential courses in Africana Studies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Contract Faculty member will teach essential courses in Africana Studies, including Introduction to Africana Studies, Black Politics, Research Methods, Intellectual Traditions of the Global African Experience, and appropriate electives in the major. The selected candidate will support the University's commitment to grow enrollments and ensure the academic vibrancy of the Africana Studies program.
Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrated scholarly publications and presentations in Africana Studies
- PhD in Africana Studies or closely related field
- Demonstrated excellence teaching
Salary Grade:
FA01 - Faculty
Exempt/Nonexempt:
Exempt

General Office Environment
