Financial Management: Analyze and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner and clearly communicate the overall financial health of the organization to the President and CEO and Board of Directors; oversee financial reporting to all government agencies and donors including grants accounting and compliance with Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards. Coordinate and lead the annual audit process with external auditors. Oversee and lead annual budgeting and planning process in conjunction with the President and CEO as well as all financial transactions. Manage organizational cash flow and forecasting. Implement contracts management system. Update and implement all necessary business policies and accounting practices; ensure proper controls are in place. Support the Finance and Audit Committee and serve as the Secretary/Treasurer to the Board of Directors.
Administration/Management: Lead the day-to-day management of all administration functions of the office including the supervision of administrative staff. Manage Human Resources functions with Georgia State University's Human Resources Department including recruitment, training, compensation and benefits, annual performance evaluations, and professional development opportunities. Manage consultant agreements and vendor relationships. Hire and manage interns.
Technology: May conduct research and analysis to identify the strengths and weaknesses of Georgia CORE's information technology systems, design and implement strategies to optimize operations, coordinate with different staff to identify their needs, and assess existing structures to recommend enhancement for optimal quality. Manage relationships and contracts with technology and telecommunications providers, provide technical support to staff and implement Georgia CORE's policies and regulations when it comes to information technology.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree and six years of supervisory/management experience; or a combination of education and related experience.
