Job Summary

Leeds School of Business invites applications for a Program Manager for the Center for Ethics and Social Responsibility (CESR) ! This position builds and manages career-relevant student programming and is responsible for developing and growing partner relationships.

Key objectives for the role include developing and implementing student programs, working to increase student engagement, and advising students interested in sustainable business and ESG (environmental, social and governance risks and opportunities for business). The Program Manager also builds relationships in the sustainable business community with a focus on clean tech and clean energy. Additional duties include drafting and building marketing communications, tracking program performance data, and collaborating with partners at CESR, Leeds and CU on events, advising and initiatives that align with the university’s strategic goals.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

Student Advising & Program Management
  • Plan and implement student programs aligned with the Director’s strategy.
  • Collaborate with the Center team in developing and implementing strategies to increase student engagement.
  • Create opportunities to foster a sense of community among business students around sustainability and ESG and help them to build a strong bond with CESR.
  • Advise students in career exploration, development, and placement. Advise student organizations.
  • Collaborate with other Centers and units within Leeds to create programs, share resources, and build student networks.
  • Track student engagement with CESR programs in Salesforce and communicate regularly with interested students.
External Partner Engagement
  • Cultivate relationships with the clean energy industry, and other sustainability-relevant industries and organizations, in alignment with strategies set by Center leadership.
  • Contribute to the Center's goals of engaging with diverse business communities.
  • Create engagement opportunities for Leeds alumni to continue to connect with CESR to support Leeds' alumni engagement strategy.
  • Develop and maintain a list of Leeds alumni and engaged community members working in clean energy and sustainability-related roles.
  • Track all engagements with community members in Salesforce.
Collaboration on Operations & Marketing
  • Collaborate across all CESR priority programs as an effective and active team member.
  • Draft, build, and send digital communications including newsletters, marketing emails, and social posts.
  • Serve as the point of contact for CESR with various Leeds and campus offices.
What You Should Know

This position offers a hybrid work modality with 3 days in person and 2 remote days per week. One evening or weekend day per month may be required depending on event needs.

What We Can Offer

The hiring range for this position is $60,000-$63,000. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates.

What We Require
  • A bachelor’s degree or a combination of education and/or relevant experience.
  • 3 years of program management or community engagement experience.
