JOB SUMMARY:
Assists in the development and implementation of all aspects of the Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business student recruitment programs in support of the college. Plans, implements, and evaluates activities related to academic advising/mentoring for College of Business students.
JOB DUTIES:
60% - Essential - Recruiting: Assists with all student recruitment initiatives and activities for the College. Assists in developing and implementing recruiting strategies targeted toward underrepresented student populations and high-quality prospects from schools not traditionally represented at Clemson. Assists and helps coordinate targeted on-campus recruitment events such as Future Tiger Days, Experience Clemson, and additional programming for admitted students to the College. Leads, manages, and presents prospective student information sessions throughout the fall and spring semesters both on and off campus and virtually. Provides accurate information regarding the admissions process, degree requirements, career opportunities, and facts about the Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business academic programs to prospective students and families. As requested, travel to recruiting events where we can engage with targeted prospective students and their families.
35% - Essential - Advising: Supports student success in academic programs by monitoring individual progress against established degree requirements and providing corrective action, as needed, to ensure student success. In both one-on-one and group settings, independently provides guidance and recommendations to current and prospective students regarding course selection and registration, career overview, academic program changes, graduation requirements, transfer credit evaluation, course substitutions, and personal development.
5% - Essential - Student Services: Refers students to appropriate campus services, as required by the student's circumstances.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education - 1st Bachelor's Degree - and experience in student services programs.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
Education - 1st Master's Degree
Work Exp 3+ years
