The Executive Assistant performs highly responsible administrative
and secretarial duties requiring an extensive working knowledge of
the organization, and the programs and departments under the
supervisor’s jurisdiction. Work includes relieving the supervisor
of administrative detail and office management functions. This
position requires considerable exercising of judgment, problem
solving, and discretion concerning highly confidential matters.
Reports to the Associate Vice President, Student Affairs.
Graduation from an accredited
institution with an associate’s degree and two years responsible
secretarial administrative assistant experience, and demonstrated
computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
in a networked office setting, and internet navigation. Appropriate
work experience may be substituted for the degree requirement on a
year-for-year basis. College course work may be substituted on a
year-for-year basis for the required experience. Successful results
of a background check are required.

Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) approved background check will
be conducted on every successful candidate as a condition of

information contained in the background investigation at the time
of submitting the employment application will be disqualified from
ANNUAL SALARY: $31,500.00 ($16.16/per hour)
